After working over 10 years as a Community Pharmacist in different parts of England, I qualified as a Pharmacist Prescriber from the University of Bath in 2017 with special interest in Dementia. Since then I gained valuable experience working as a Practice Pharmacist and also working part time for Devon Doctors (NHS 111 Service).
My role as a Practice Pharmacist will be dealing with: medicines related queries from patients and all allied healthcare professionals, clinical medication reviews for long term health conditions and Prescription management. I will be leading the medicines management for a safe, high quality and cost effective prescribing.
Outside work I love playing badminton, cricket and walking my dog. Great life achievements include solo trek to Everest Base Camp in support of The Society for Mucopolysaccharide Diseases.
Currently, I am in the process of obtaining my independent prescribing qualifications at the University of West of England. This will help me manage patients with respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD.
My two greatest passions are kite-surfing and travelling. In 2017 my partner and I lived truly nomadic lives exploring South East Asia. At that time we managed to visit 8 different countries, and we covered over 2500 miles on the motorbikes. Also, more recently, in 2018, I taught kite-surfing in the Dominican Republic and learned Spanish.
I believe that a A Strong Body Makes The Mind Strong. I advocate healthy eating and an active lifestyle to my patients as well as my family and friends.
I am fortunate to be a part of such a fantastic team and live in one of the most beautiful regions in the UK
